Labor Day Weekend in Yellowstone

We had a really fun trip with Keith's family to Yellowstone this weekend. We camped at a really nice camp site with bathrooms, cabins (we slept in tents and Keith and I had our own tipi tent), grass, picnic tables and really it was as good as I can imagine camping to be. We went swimming in the fire hole (keith said it was called that because it was warm, but it was not warm), which is a natural slide area in a river, and we saw old faithful spray though it has become less faithful on it's eruption time. We saw the hot mud springs which are pretty blue and orange colors, but are stinky from the thermophiles (which we read are microscopic living organisms that can thrive in boiling hot water). Oh and as for wildlife we saw tons of buffalo and two elk with collars on. As Keith's family is from a ranch with these animals living in their backyard, they were very unimpressed and frustrated with the traffic caused by cars of people who have never seen wildlife (like me before marrying Keith) who stopped instantly right in the middle of the one lane road. (Keith's family wanted to see real stuff like bears.) The landscape was very beautiful with so much water and trees though. We really had a fun time and of course ate way too much because Keith's mom makes a lot of good food! And we all know good food is the only requirement for a great vacation. Keith's sister, Deanna, took many more pictures than me, but I'll post some that I took to give you an idea.

Update

BYU Graduation

Keith's brother Reed returned from his mission in Cambodia

Keith took me to the Spaghetti Factory for my Birthday. It was really fun and I hadn't seen him for a week. I had just come back from my San Diego trip, which was so fun, but I did miss him!

And now I have been looking for a job/trying not to spend too much money decorating our new apartment. Keith got this cute table from a store in Idaho that we had credit from and I only have Halloween decorations so far.

Graduated Again!

I made it through horrific summer school and finished my Bachelor's. I graduated on Friday in Exercise Science from the school of Health and Human Performance. Keith's parents and my aunt and uncle came. It was short which we all appreciated and then Keith's parents took us to eat at CPK. We had a great time. Now I really have to get a job! Oh but wait, not yet! I'm going to San Diego for a week to celebrate and visit my family and finally get some summer activities in! I am so excited!

Tonight Keith's brother Reed is getting home from his mission so we will have a fun weekend celebrating with him before I leave! Keith is so happy his brother is getting home that i think that is the only reason he is letting me leave for a whole week.

Yeah for Summer!

Weekend

This weekend we were going to go to Keith's family reunion, but since his parent's car broke down in Salt Lake we drove up there and took the kids to see Harry Potter. I really liked it and so did Keith even though he is hesitant to admit it. It has been so long since I've read all the books and now I am excited to read them again when school gets over in a couple weeks!
After packing all day yesterday, Keith decided he was ready to buy a new tv for our new condo. He really loves electronics and new things. : ) All I know is it is big. It doesn't fit in our apartment now and it blocks half a doorway. We are so excited to move into our new apartment next weekend.

Weekend Project

We are moving to East Millcreek in South Salt Lake in August to be closer to Keith's work. His office might be moving from Park City to the Brickyard Plaza, which is right across the street from the condo we found. We are very excited! It is new and nice. So before we move all our furniture up three stories we thought we would update my parents dinning room set they let us have when we got married. It was a really light pine and so we decided to stain it a dark red mahogany color. We spent all Friday evening and all day Saturday sanding and staining. It was a lot more work than we thought, but we finished and we think it turned out pretty good! Our basement lighting doesn't do it justice.

update

Some quick updates:
-For memorial weekend we went to Idaho to visit Keith's family and I had a fun time on a horse pretending to help move a bunch of scary looking bulls. We had to move them again later on a four wheeler that kept getting stuck in the mud and i think my panicking even made Keith nervous. I just couldn't believe we didn't get charged! Also Keith told me they were trying to charge us cause our four wheeler was red and i totally believed him until he laughed at me freaking out. The ranch is always a fun adventure. We went to the fun historic townsite for their yearly celebration and toured neat little pioneer homes and it is right along the oregon trail! It was really nice weather most of the time too, so we set up a fun badminton (i never knew that's how you spelled it till i just looked it up) net and had a really fun time playing that! Our last night we enjoyed a backyard fire in the neat pit and made smores!
-I'll be done with spring semester next week and then we are heading down to San Diego for my sister Jamie's wedding before summer semester starts. It will be a quick trip, but i can hardly wait! It feels like forever since i've been home.
-I'm trying to find a part time dental hygiene job for one day a week this summer while i finish school and Keith is still loving working at Summit Energy in Park City.
-I've been a couple times to seven peaks so far, but we are impatiently waiting for the good weather so Keith and i can actually go together a whole day to enjoy it!
-sorry i don't have much to share, hopefully keith will do something funny soon so i can report it! haha

Here are some fun pics of us on our horses:

Since every time i ride a horse keith has to pull the stirrups all the way up so i can sort of reach I told him to buy me a pony so i don't have to bounce around so much. I bet everyone would enjoy seeing me try to ride a horse! :)
