I passed! I'm an official Dental Hygienist!

Yesterday I received my results for the dental hygiene clinical board exam, the last results I've been waiting for, And I passed! So Now I can apply for my license and start looking for work! I can't believe how fast the boards came and went. I was so nervous I wouldn't pass. But now I have three success cards for the three crazy board exams: written boards, anesthesia boards, and clinical board! Hopefully we stay in Utah for awhile so i never have to take another state's boards. (I can't believe i'm saying that.)
Now bring on summer I've got my seven peaks season pass and looking forward to warm fun! (By the way anyone staying in the area for summer get a season pass too and come with me.)

I finished Dental Hygiene

Last Thursday I had my last dental hygiene clinical board exam and then Friday was UVU's graduation. Unfortunately I am going to BYU for spring/summer term to also finish my Bachelor's in exercise science, which started on Wednesday, so I had to miss the second day of school for graduation. Excitement of graduation was short-lived, but it was fun to have my parents and keith's parents come celebrate with us. We ate steak at Ruby River! It was so good! And I put a cute picture of the whole dental hygiene group. They are the best girls! I will miss them. When i'm done with school this summer I think it will be a huge adjustment. I can't imagine my life with school all finished! It's so exciting! I'll have to fill my time cleaning teeth. :) Since Keith's job is in Park City we might move closer to the area or at least Salt Lake at the end of the summer. Keith started work this week and based on the facts:
-He can wear whatever he wants to work (jeans and boots)
-He can text, call, or instant message me whenever he wants
-They gave him a laptop and he gets to analyze natural gas prices (one of his favorite topics)
-The main owner supplies their office kitchen with costco foods every month (now that Keith's there they will be stocking it a lot more frequently)
-His second day the owners bought everyone cafe rio for lunch and made him a smoothie in their sweet kitchen
-The office room is filled with big screen tvs on every wall
I think he is very happy with his new job!
And good news for me the outlet mall is right next to his office. Life is getting good!

The light at the end of the tunnel!

Keith graduated from BYU with a bachelor in finance and a real estate emphasis from the Marriot School of Business on Thursday April 24th! He is so happy to finally be finished with school and luckily he has a job lined up with Summit Energy, a small private natural gas company in Park City, as an analyst. His parents are so proud of him. I'm so proud of him too! He is such a hard worker. We are excited for a fun new future!

The Best and the Worst!

So since I don't really have much of anything to talk about and all we have going on right now is school stress. I thought I'd share what's been getting Keith and I through this month. Costco's Chocolate enrobed Caramel Macadamia Clusters!
I could only find a picture of this brand.

They are amazing and we choose to ignore why they can be the worst! It's still winter, we're young, can't we eat what we want?!!

New Hair

My sister has been begging me to post my new hair cut so she can see it. So I also gave Keith a hair cut this week and thought we'd compare the difference in free hair cuts given by untrained wives and very expensive hair cuts given by real professionals. See if you can tell the who did whose hair. At least Boys can wear hats.

San Diego Break!

Happy New Year!

I can't believe how fast the winter break went by! We had a fabulous time enjoying the sun in San Diego at my parent's house for Christmas. We went to six flags magic mountain and survived many scary roller coasters. Unfortunately my fear of heights may have increased. We also went to a car and aerospace museum in Balboa, then seal beach, bike riding at mission beach, and we saw the tide pools in Point Loma. Though it seems we were busy, the activity we did most often was EAT! WE had lots of family parties with yummy food and desserts. My mom made a see's chocolate topiary tree with a couple pounds of chocolate on it and Keith ate the majority of it. Keith knew he was going to gain a lot of weight while we were there so he weighed in before and after to see the results. We were all shocked at his amazing 19 lb increase in less than two weeks time! Not only can he gain weight quickly, but since Sunday was fast Sunday he found he lost almost 10 lbs from missing only a couple meals. Who knew it was possible! Probably only for Keith though. Bummer.
For the last weekend we headed up to Idaho to see Keith's family in the cold snow. You don't understand what cold means until you've experienced a day at 30 degrees below Zero where the high warmed all the way up to 13 degrees below zero. Despite the temperature Keith's sister Deseret and I enjoyed sledding down hills we found in the backyard of the Ranch. We had such a fun time. We were sad to leave, but at least this is our last semester of school!
